Hi Guys, I have just come from scanning a commercial space that is technically sitting on two normal levels. So there is a ground level with just steps up to the top one and an elevator. The top level has very high ceiling with exposed roof structure. However at the end of this space there are two sublevels, one(I called it 1.5 in Matterport) is about meter down from the top floor with an office space and an exit to a side street and another sublevel one meter up(I called it 2.5) with another office space. Exit to a side street from a 1.5 level is there because a side street goes up a hill and gain about 1 meter in the ground level on this a side of the building. This is what it looks like on the side https://goo.gl/maps/pxQg6NCtnJvgY1ag9 I am not sure how Matterport will cope with names Floor 1.5 and Floor 2.5 but at this point I am more concerned how it will go to Google Maps. Does anybody have any experience with submitting something similar to Google Maps. |

Thanks but I could not find any split level floors in your tour. I can see you have floors(1, 8,17) but they are not split level floors, just normal height floors.

I'm not sure how they will be treated. If this is all one model my guess would be that a half level won't matter. Meaning it should flow fine. You will know more once the model is processed, and published to Google.

Matterport have handled it their own way. They removed subfloors that were indicated 1.5 and 2.5 as half(split) floors, merged some into one and created a 3rd floor. I do not mind how it is shown for floor labels but still do not know what will happen when it is published to GSV. I guess I will know after I publish it. Here is the tour |
