Hi, I'm new here and considering purchasing a MP camera. I own a gearvr and was blown away by the scans. One question though: is it possible to walk freely through the models? As in without the "pucks" or markers? I would like to be able to use a handheld video game controller to "walk" through the model freely. Thanks for any info.

As far as I know, that is not something that can be done. Those pucks on the floor are the stand point where the camera was set and are associated with the specific images captured from that location. In the workshop mode after a scan, you can move through in the mesh mode, but quality is not photo like. It's a raw 3D capture.

I just got around to updating it, all I have to say is WOW!

They sure have come a long way since the beginning, the experiences are absolutely incredible.

Ive done no VR at all. Is it just like being there visually? Is it grainy at all or sharp?

It is fantastic, there's nothing like it. The images on my Note 4 with the Gear are not super sharp but you soon forget that as you get lost in the incredible world of VR. I'm hooked I just hope I don't get sucked into VR a world and never want to come out again.
