Hey all, I was just wondering, what is max number of models per client people have? Could you list what type of client they are, like if it's a school or a office building etc. I guess this will be more for the long term models for things like accommodation and such. For people doing a hotel do they find they have the function room, assortment of 5 types of rooms, gym, foyer etc. Perhaps you have 3 types that always end up being a large amount of models? I guess I want to be aware of what a "type" will need so that I can manage our hosted model resource. If it is already covered in the forum please link, I couldn't find it ;p cheers, Steve. |

I do a lot of work for a company that manages a large number of vacation rental cabins. Because of the large number of properties involved and because they would want to keep the tours available for a long time, we came to the conclusion that it would be best for them to have their own account and add me as a contributor. If you're talking about a large number of hosted tours, this approach makes the most sense. If you're talking about a client who has need of 5 or 10 tours to be hosted long-term, it would make sense to add them to your own hosting account and then charge the client monthly or annually for hosting. Matterport were heavily focused on the residential real estate market when they designed their hosting setup. Until/unless something changes, we're pretty much on our own to come up with solutions that make sense for ourselves and our non-RE clients. |
