Lots of companies are giving discounts and free months to help us through this time where we aren’t getting any business at all because everywhere is in lockdown. That would be much more helpful.

@June Totally agree. Other (tech) companies are giving discounted rates or 1, 2, or 3 months free. All Matterport gives is a "checklist" that everyone should already know now. This is totally unprofessional of Matterport and shows a disrespect to all of us (in my opinion). It goes to show they dont care that this can and will cause many providers to close up shop because they will go out of business. More cameras will be flooding facebook posts for sale. They could at least show they care. Otherwise, businesses will drop them and go to their competitors who actually are doing something more for their clients. |

Matterport is a great company. Great product. I just hope they do something to help those that have helped their bottom dollar for years. It's a mutually beneficial relationship.

Matterport is one of those companies that stand to win big from the coronavirus. They are not about to throw that away. It would be like the grocery stores giving us all $100 because we purchased everything that was in the store in one day. They have a captive market. They know that a large number of people will be exposed (excuse the pun) to virtual tours as a result of this. They hope that these new clients will stay after everything returns to normal. While I also like the Matterport product I cannot say the same about management. |

Yes, Matterport should offer free or discounted processing and hosting during the crisis. That would put heart ahead of profits and, by doing so, likely generate more customers and good will to carry forward when the crisis resolves.
