I'm intrigued with this format. Is it possible to use MP camera? I'm guessing not. 2nd question: Can I pull stills from this for MLS photos? |

@fotoguy Yes. Export 360s. Yes. Like Snapshot. I can put some 2D images in a Dropbox on Wednesday. Dan Ps about to start social plans for the evening. |

@fotoguy Are you thinking doing Matterport 360's throughout the property, including at least one 3D scan, upload to Matterport for processing, don't make public, but then download the processed 360's and then upload to EyeSpy360? Though I haven't tried it (yet), I'll bet that will work. Given they are separate files, you can re-touch b4 uploading as well. What will be interesting is whether there is a resolution/exposure improvement to the EyeSpy360-processed tour once done and made public. Very nice, out-of-the-box thinking!! Thanks for the idea!! |

That is what we do now when a realtor we awants photos. It takes longer but the MP does excellent in all kinds of lighting, except outsiide in the sun

@fotoguy Yes, I recall that is exactly what you mentioned in an earlier post on a different subject. I love the MacGuyver approach! Well done!

@JanHamorsky Thanks for putting this tour up. Looks like a definite improvement in resolution quality and lighting. Did you re-touch any 360’s before uploading to EyeSpy360?

@bryanhscott no, any re-touching... I made it very quickly just for a test, to see the final result in EyeSpy360 environment. Jan |

@fotoguy Here are two examples. I will place these and more in a Dropbox later and post a link. I could imagine that the WGAN Forum compresses the images some. ... Dan |

Thanks, Dan. The images look a little dark but I think I remember you saying you didn't adjust the settings or set it to hdr? It also seems to be quite a bit of distortion in the still photos. I know with the MP I have to be careful to get just the right angle for a still or some things appear much larger than they are actually. I do really like the eyespy tour though.

@fotoguy Blame me for the images. I did not adjust my 360 camera properly for shooting the images. When I did the screen shots, I should have set the zoom to avoid the distortion. Both things that you are asking about can be controlled by you. Best, Dan |

@DanSmigrod Dan, I agree 100% with @fotoguy. I like the fact you can pass through the house once and get what you need, and, I believe there are clients who would be just fine with the quality of these stills as a FREEBIE, or highly discounted add-on. However, I am not confident I would want to put images like this in my gallery to try and attract new business. Photos that come out of the 360's processed from the Pro2 from the tour that @JanHamorsky posted might be much better, but as @fotoguy pointed out, the view angle of the still is a really big deal. For my part, I'm perfectly OK not shooting the extra 360's to maximize 2D stills and would rather just walk back through the property with my DSLR, or with Nodalview and my cellphone. |
