Hi i missed the google street view summit in London.I am doing a lot of tours for restaurants, retail. my problem is that once i create a map listing it needs to be verified. The verification process is sending a postcard to the physical address. Unfortunately where i live we don't have mail delivery just PO Boxes so i never receive the postcard and have to wait 14 days before i can try and contact anybody to start the verification process. Has anybody else been in this situation and did you find a solution? harry |

If you have an access to an actual business location and create a GMB listing being at this address Google will offer verification over a phone along with mail verification. It seems Google uses location data from a device where a GMB listing is created and matches it with an actual address. I have helped to create a GMB listing for my friend's business recently. We were doing it at this business address creating a listing on his Mac and after we reached verification step we were offered verification via a mobile(my friend entered his mobile as a business phone). He clicked it, received a code from Google via a SMS and verified his GMB listing straight away. |
