I have never experienced it before but to be honest I have never done this type of business especially in a small space. Anyway here is the model itself that has only 1-2 panoramas with wavy lines on some shutters and blinds. https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=DRVpivqHFmC However after I submitted it to Google Maps almost every spot shows wavy distorted lines ate spots where they are not presented in the model. For example this is one pano from Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/3CFTpipHUnMRTDYa7 with a lot of vertical and horizontal lines distorted. And here is the same pano in the model https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=DRVpivqHFmC&start=%7B%22camera_mode%22%3A1%2C%22camera_position%22%3A%7B%22x%22%3A7.840783596038818%2C%22y%22%3A1.295699119567871%2C%22z%22%3A2.3525500297546387%7D%2C%22camera_quaternion%22%3A%7B%22x%22%3A0.0002394029684928637%2C%22y%22%3A-0.9997511230148763%2C%22z%22%3A-0.017799533579534534%2C%22w%22%3A-0.013446610021238866%7D%2C%22scan_id%22%3A%223563b69ba0c4419f9047577e0605afae%22%7D And that's just one of many where similar problems appear only on Google Maps. Unless it is going to settle and fix itself that's just weird and unexplainable. I only submitted it 2 hours ago so may be that's the reason. However I do not remember seeing anything like this in any Matterport tour I have done and published to Google Maps. The model has been published to GSV through Matterport. Then I got all of the 360s from it into Pano2VR, cleared excessive links and resubmitted back to GSV. |

Case closed! I had to remove the tour from the maps completelly and submit it again to get rid of all distortions in panoramas. | ||

stupid me!!! it was a problem with Hardware acceleration option set to OFF in my Chrome settings. How could I forgot that I turn it OFF myself to check if that could be a problem for someone's distorted nadir logo. It was suggested as a solution to it on localguides connect boards. I did not see distortion on that logo first so I turn acceleration off and forgot to set it back to ON. If somebody's ever having problems with distortion shown while it is not presented in their panormas at all make sure Hardware acceleration is ON in Chrome Settings |
