@pheller

Which model number is it on our List of Matterport Gear and Accessories?

I have that case but I didn't use the original packing material as you did. I think that material is less prone to releasing static charge so I will be switching to that configuration. Thanks for the post.

p.s. i think it is the Ppelican 1510

@mikeE I also thing the pluck foam deteriorates after a while. The foam that came with the camera may be more durable. It also wasn't as deep, and it is easier to retrieve the camera.

The case is model 1560

@DanSmigrod This case is slightly larger than the one on your list. I wanted more room for accessories such as a door stopper, lens cleaner, sandwich, etc. Otherwise it is the same.

If you notice, I put the iPad in on its edge. I'm not sure you can do that in the smaller case.

@pheller

Thank you for the Pelican Case Number (1560).

I added it to our List of Matterport Gear and Accessories.

Best,

I have the exact same setup. Works like a dream. Yes it fits in the carry-on. I travel a lot with mine, and had no problems.

I'm always in hurry and thinking of looking for a case that can fit the tripod and camera connected. Has anyone tried this? Know of any potential issues?
