| We have two iPads that suddenly will not open the capture app. When we press the icon, the Matterport logo appears and it looks like it's loading. Then it flashes and goes back to the iPad desktop. If I double tap the home button, it shows the capture model selection page as if the app is running, but when you click on it you get the same behavior as mentioned above. Any ideas? This puts us out of commission. | ||

| @jscottsmith Current Camera firmware? Current Capture app? Restart both cameras and iPads? Turn off WIFI and see if the app does not get hung? Dan |

| Not connected to any camera at the time. Latest iOS on both iPads (air 2 and pro) same behavior whether connected to Wi-Fi or not | ||

| Ok.... We're on the right track. Apparently while doing an imazing backup, one of my guys renamed a model without realizing the havoc that would cause. Deleting the model causes the app to start correctly. However, then we have lost the model. So day we have not found a way to restore the random name It used to have. Any ideas? | ||

| @jscottsmith If you have uploaded the model, then Matterport can make duplicates. If the model only lives on your iPad, the files need to be the SAME as before the back up occurred. Do you have an iCloud back up prior to tinkering with the app files names? Dan |

| @jscottsmith Until Matterport offers a cloud backup solution, iCloud is only viable backup solution for 98 percent of Matterport Pros. All the super-geeky solutions like the one you use will result in nightmare scenarios like the one you are experiencing. Hoping that you published your model to Matterport Cloud. If so, Matterport Support can restore it. Dan |

| That sounds like a bookkeeping nightmare. Not sure why you are calling a simple and inexpensive tool "super geeky". From what I've seen, something like iMazing seems far superior to iCloud. | ||
