Winding down a Matterport Business9438

I need some advice, please. I have been running a Matterport business for the last year or so after being retrenched from my previous employer. The business has been doing Ok but recently I lost a key client because of the downturn in our local economy in South Africa. I have also managed to secure permanent employment from the beginning of February in Cape Town whilst my business is operating in Durban which makes it difficult to manage given the distances involved. I have been giving consideration to "mothballing" or winding the business down until my retirement but I'm worried about what will happen to my client's scans. I have read somewhere that one can transfer your scans to another Matterport user/business. Has anybody done something similar and how does it work? Surely I can't expect the user to carry the hosting fees on my behalf but on the other hand, I don't want to be saddled with the said fees for as long as the scans are alive? |

I do not know if it is going to be an issue for you or your clients but you can ask your clients if they want to open a Matterport Cloud account so you can transfer their spaces to them. This way they will pay for their own spaces hosted directly to Matterport. |

You can transfer to another MSP, and there’s no charge for that... but there would have to be some recompense to that MSP. On a classic account you can carry an overage of 50 models for $19USD per month. | ||
