Hi All,

The WGAN Forum Question of the Day for Monday, 27 May 2019:

Do you charge extra for image editing ( "Premium Photos" )?

This question was inspired by this Matterport Service Provider that charges an Add On to DSLR photography of $200 extra for "Premium Photos" (image editing) including:

✓ Have rooms brightened and windows enhance
✓ Remove unsightly electrical cords left behind
✓ Showcase the overall potential of your listings

Did I incorrectly assume that if you are offering DSLR shot images that you are including image enhancement in that price?

Best,

Dan

Editing takes time. Good to put a value on it so people don’t take it for granted. IMHO.

I do charge extra for Photoshop editing images. My price for the client is $15 per Item per image. So for instance if they want the power lines removed from the photo I can do that for $15. But here's the catch it has to be done to all images that showcase that item. That way everything is consistent for the MLS. I no longer worry about what the MLS has to say about me photoshopping images because I work for the realtor and not MLS. If they ask me to do it I will do it.
