Hi All,

The WGAN Forum Question of the Day for Friday, 24 May 2019:

Do you – should you – set the Matterport Pro2 3D Camera height at four (4) feet to create the Matterport 3D Tour and 2D photos?

This Question of the Day was inspired by this WGAN Forum discussion:

With some simple, action driven adjustments, you can make the Matterport still images really pop, and my clients are thrilled with them. The walkthrough also looks natural with the camera set at 4ft.

The number one selling point that I use, to get clients to try me, is that I tell them that when they hire me for a 3D Tour, the still photos are free so they don't have to hire a separate photographer. $$ saved!

Enjoy the 3-day holiday weekend (in the US),

Best,

Dan

I use half the ceiling height. 9’ ceilings? Scan at 4.5’. Verticals will be spot on

@3dVuz I never though about that great idea, could you post a few photos, so we could see.

@ron0987 These are from a home I did last week. All the images are from the Matterport scan, 80 in total for this large home. Once downloaded I crop all of them and then batch process them with a photo editing software program I use for color and density etc. Then I put my logo on and they're ready for the client. I don't sell them as true HDR. I offer that as a service also, but most of my clients are happy with these.
