| I used my Insta 360 One X camera for a month and did about 10 home scans with it before getting my Pro 2 Camera. Below is a tour with the Insta 360 camera. It's not as clear as the Matterport cameras. Much more grain in the image and much less detail when you zoom in. I found that I needed to have my scan positions closer together. When passing through doorways, I could only move the camera about 12" - 18" between scans. I also had to do a lot more walking with the 360 camera. I move the camera, then walk out of the room, then trigger the camera, then walk back in and move it. With the Matterport camera, I can just stay there and walk around it. The Matterport needs about 1/4 less scans per home to cover the same size home, so it takes me less time to scan a home. I also never have connection problems with the Matterport camera, but sometimes, I lose connection between the ipad and the the 360 camera when I am in the next room or behind a wall, so I have to reposition before shooting. The Matterport camera just does not have any connection problems and most of the time I am standing right next to it. Here is my last Insta 360 tour before getting my Pro 2 camera... |
