| Someone approached me to scan a 25,000 sq ft location. [Toronto Ontario Canada] They offered a sum of FIVE cents per square foot since this was "wholesale" large order. They then alluded to how much business they could send my way, via real estate agents; IF I LENT THEM the camera and let them scan their own TOURS onto my account at Matterport. THEN the conversation turned to How they could generate Google TANGO virtual imaging business. Wholesale by their version is a multiple people getting a discount; but I need to do the individual scans. I am interested in Google Tango Business and would appreciate a contact. I will not risk my equipment for that sum of money. [I did not buy it to lend it. Who ever flipped them and took the business; I hope you are successful. |

| Hi David Firstly it's not Google Tango, it's Google Business View and no matter what they tell you, you can't use your MP camera to shoot for BV. These are all captures on a DSLR with typically a 8mm lens and a pano head which allows you to precisely (manually) turn the camera 360. You take 4 bracketed shots each at 90. Then you have to align all of your pano’s as well as blur any faces of identifying items like licenses plates. It sound to me like there is no advantage to working with these guys especially if they told you, you can use your MP camera for BV. Best of luck Gary |
