What are your thoughts on using Ricoh or Insta360 versus other methods that have been discussed on the Forum in the past. I offered the service in the past and found the process to be time consuming using the Matterport Camera or Bosch Program and still try be competitive with other floor plan providers in town. I recently shared a house I scanned shot entirely with a Ricoh Theta in 31 minutes. The measurements were exactly what I was measuring with the laser scanner for a few rooms. Being able to produce a floor plan in under an hour with accurate measurements appears to be good direction for some marketing. Have you looked at going down this route to freshen some ideas? |

@VTLV you pulled floor plans from the Theta shot? via Matterport? | ||

I didn’t order a floor plan through Matternport since I’m too cheap to spend $15 to test it out. The entire home was shot with Theta instead of Matterport pro camera. Using the Matterport measurement tool, I found the room dimensions were spot on with the laser tool results for living room and 3 bedrooms. |
