| I was just looking at the KCVR Meetup group's upcoming Meetups and I noticed that I missed one in October that was at Matterports new Engineering Office in Lawrence Kansas! This is about 30 minutes from my house. It is where the KU campus is. I'm guessing they must have a good VR program or something? The Meetup group is talking about having a Matterport Hackathon. Just really surprised me so I thought I would share. |

| @DanSmigrod Really bums me out that I missed it because the organizer took a bunch of video but Matterport wouldn't allow him to share most of it so they might have shared so top secret stuff! In one of the videos that he did post the engineer was talking about adding the capability of measuring the depth of things. His example was the depth of the top of a desk. |

They had a hackathon in October and posted some videos. If you look closely at the end of a few of them, they swap tabs and you can clearly see the homepage for mpembed.com.
