| I am in the middle of a negotiation with a potential large client. She insists that somehow TruMaps and InsideMaps are now compatible with VRBO. Can anyone verify this? If this is the case, why not Matterport? Cupix?? Can anyone enlighten me on the state of affairs with VRBO?? Keith |

| @Chemistrydoc Looks like a test roll-out by HomeAway and InsideMaps, according to the HomeAway press release today (13 November 2018): "HomeAway’s pilot is currently being tested by owners and property managers in key destinations, with additional signups occurring at industry events such as HomeAway’s Rezfest and Partner Summits." | @DanSmigrod Thanks for the research and for the statement from InsideMaps. The easy solution would be to simply use the InsideMaps that has been sitting in my closet for over 18 months. But, somehow, I'm much less satisfied with that solution. I called Matterport sales and asked to speak with someone in Vacation Rentals (Travel and Resort). Honestly, I've never been so underwhelmed by an answer in my life. I really don't like the InsideMaps system - at all. But, I don't see another solution. This is a HUGE loss of income potential for Matterport. Here in my immediate area, there are over 20,000 property owners that rent over the VRBO platform. And, why would any of these ever choose to have Matterport done on their property when that tour is not supported on VRBO? More stellar marketing from our industry leader..... KF |
