Yes. USE it.I get consulted and when I go in to their website and matterport dashboard I see they have 20 wp3d models and 200 scans in their matterport account. Next is don't delete the model in your wordpress. Google looks at all of your site, including the models. If you client doesnt need it then keep it and if you cant afford to keep it take a video of it and swap out the header with it. Not sticking to Persistence and Discipline causes most of you to give up and then want to blame the world for why it didn't work out. | ||

One of my favorite parts of WP3D is the "Generic Iframe" model base. I embed everything into them and use the iframes and shortcodes to place them in other places in my site or customer's sites. I use a lot of custom overlays on the GSV that I generate from the Matterport model and I am able to embed the iframe of it into WP3D. This gives a consistent look to all of my tours and I still get the SEO benefit of the traffic from my customer's page being directed to my page. The other benefit is that if you need to change the content in the iframe it doesn't break the embeds elsewhere on your site or customer's site! Thanks Ross! |
