Yes, I trained my son how to use the Matterport and he's really good with it. We tend to go on jobs together so we can do photography, videography and the virtual tours simultaneously, but he's been on Matterport jobs on his own when I've not been around. | ||

Yes, a colleague of mine who is a former commercial photographer and an ace aerial drone pilot, I have recently trained on MP. As he’s a great drone man he has a superb spacial sense which I view as a strong asset in doing MP. I find shooting MP gets sorta zen, feeling the right places to position the camera to hit all the dead zones cleanly as well as positions which can potentially yield good Showcase Tour angles and still images (though I extract MP stills rarely). I’m hoping for business to expand enough to employ him regularly. | ||

@eggardner Should I ask how you decide to pay your son? @Home3D Terrific that you went with an experienced ($$$) Pro. I could imagine that many Members are trying to find the least cost freelancer. When you get busy enough, it will be nice to have a seasoned Pro on the team full-time. Best, Dan |
