I have a 40+' telescoping fiberglass mast. i've pretty much stopped using it now that the drone works so well.

it's got a stand. use remote shutter. Don't think i'd mount the MP on it though. Especially if it was breezy. This isn't it but similar. |

No. I don't like using it anymore now that I'm old and feeble. Plus I don't think it will fit in the Prius.

Here's the telescoping painter's pole (aluminum construction): clickable text I made an adapter for attachment of the Theta that was more substantial than some I've seen online.. Keith |

Here is a Cupix example I created recently of a 1.5-acre residence at heights that range from 15' to 30'. Our goal was to highlight how Cupix can assist with roof inspections and extract "good enough" dimensions. Granted, I captured more than just the roofs for this example. https://players.cupix.com/p/hyZ0Ep2r Some notes ... - I used a "Wonder Pole", but probably would suggest something lighter. - Images were created with a MadV (7k) - The on-site capture took just under 1 hour. - You can take measurements within the 3D Tour by selecting the icon in the upper left-hand toolbar. Use the "Common Point from 2 Panos" option. Notice the tips on taking dimensions. It takes a couple of times to get used to this method. For example, try taking measurements of the roof pitches. - The north structure (or house) has images taken on multiple levels to capture low and high roofs. - I did spend about 15 minutes in post-processing after the 3D Tour was auto-generated to scale the tour to a reference dimension and set up the Layout (or reference plan), which is just a screen grab from google earth. -Paul |

@pcollart Can you talk more about the business use case for "assist with roof inspections and extract "good enough" dimensions"? Thanks, Dan |
