(Training will help you decide if Matterport is right for you to scan your own listings or if you want to engage a Pro.) Training Options 1. Engage a Pro to shoot your house or apartment. Ask to watch the scanning process and then the post production process in Matterport Workshop / Matterport Cloud. If you decide not to buy a Matterport Camera, you have already worked with a Matterport Pro that you can engage to shoot your listings. From a brokers perspective: You can pay for a lot of scans and your camera will become obsolete before you even recover the cost that you invested. Then there is the hosting fees. Unless you are scanning a lot isn’t worth it. Or hasn’t been for me! | ||

@Matt19 Yes. I recommend engaging a Matterport Service Provider until you know that you have enough business - and the desire - to buy a Matterport Pro2 3D Camera. Since my original post (above0 10 months ago, anyone thinking about getting started with Matterport - or just bought a Matterport Camera - can succeed faster with the: ✓ WGAN-TV Training Academy – 75 videos (80+ hours) including many hours on scanning and Matterport Workshop Best, Dan |
