Today, with thousands of Matterport Service Providers Worldwide – a potential Matterport Camera buyer can get a test drive anywhere. Matterport will sell more camera with a test-drive - first. A test drive should be the new Matterport mantra for customer journey. Imagine instead of offering $600 or $1,000 off, Matterport offered a rebate of up to $1,000 on any Matterport Service Provider invoice(s) with Matterport Camera purchase. The rebate is issued as a credit to the Camera buyers’ Matterport Cloud account. The potential Matterport camera buyer is free to choose any Matterport Service provider. Submit the invoice via a form (Wufoo forms can handle an attachment) Matterport accounting processes the credit Results 1. Matterport sells more camera via test drives 2. Initial buyer got to experience scanning process (quick-start) 3. Potential buyer realized that they would rather engage a Pro instead 4. Generate business for MSPs 5. Help Make MSPs happy – they got a least one order (and potentially more from this buyer) 6. Help make MSPs happy - you did not discount the value of their investment in a Matterport Camera 7. The $600 rebate contributed to monthly recurring revenue and reducing churn among MSPs Matterport executive team, as you think about Q4 2018 discounts, please think creatively about using what you are willing to discount to help sell more cameras and generate business for MSPs. Design the process upfront with Wufoo to Google Sheets and you'll automate much of the back-end.
