Agents back tool which claims to create "most accurate" floorplans7471

The manufacturers of a new PropTech tool claims it produces “the most accurate measurement of floorplans on the market” and has the backing of two major agencies and the RICS as it launches to the industry today.

The product, Spec, is described as “a property marketing solution” which uses 3D technology to create floorplans, professional photography, and 360° and virtual reality marketing materials for properties.

With a price tag ranging from £49 to £149, Spec - which has been created by spatial technology company Pupil - works like this. https://www.estateagenttoday.co.uk/breaking-news/2018/7/agents-back-tool-which-claims-to-create-most-accurate-floorplans

Very interesting if what they're stating is true. I can fine very little on the company other then a website that seems to leave you asking what is it instead of explaining what it is. https://pupil.co. But they seem to have a decent staff level already with at least 66 staff and actively recruiting for more. Here's their LinkedIn page https://www.linkedin.com/company/hello-pupil as well as an Infograph of their solution. If anyone find out more about their process please post it here as this could be very disruptive to the MSP community.

From their rudimentary illustration in the video, it looks like they're using the BLK360 and trusting an employee to use it properly in the volume real estate market. It will take them a while to expand that way considering the equipment is $18,500 per unit.

Looks like it has some backing and is going to town with the BLK360. If they can afford to hit the market with a load of BLKs then yes I agree, @GarySnyder, a disruptor to watch. Nice messaging and joined up.

Middle Man Company outsourcing BLK jobs around London? Perhaps later looking to sell in other markets with a trusted photographer?

BLK takes way toooo long to scan, and home buyers don't care so much about dollhouse view etc.
