| Not a newbie, but biggest failure of Matterport by far in my mind is hosting limits. I'm certain that's keeping many people from buying a camera. It causes me to second-guess my involvement all the time. After all, it's not just the $19 to process the model... once you cross that threshold for your plan they now will be charging for overages each and every month which will really start to add up. | Already have a camera. No regrets- would do it again. Knew there'd be bumps in the road as an early adopter. Hosting fees? Really feel they should be nominal- unlimited. Seems to me it serves everyone in this partnership to be incentivized with the vision the more data gathered the better. Particularly when reading between the lines... MP's apparent intent/endgame seems to be working toward monetizing the scans/data we are paying to host. Put another way....... doesn't serve the hive to punish the drone bees for the honor of harvesting "storing" pollen when in the end- MP will reap the benefits/be holding all the honey. | ||
