Hi Dan, I have always used the DLEV 3838. Works for me! |

@Networker The DLEV3838 is a knockoff of the EZ Leveler II: bundled here with the addition of the quick release plate - from WGAN Forum Member Nodal Ninja (@Bill). Best, Dan Bundle: EZ Leveler + Quick Release Plate QRC55 + Case EZ Leveler Only Quick Release Plate (QRC55) Only |

@DanSmigrod For me, it's a genuine Arca-Swiss Quick-Release Clamp on a Benro LBA2 Levelling Adjustment Base atop a Benro C1180T Fold Flat Carbon Fibre Traveller Tripod. I can actually fit the lot alongside a Pro2 and an iPad Pro inside a Peli 1510 hard case (it did take more than a few nights in SketchUp to thrash the Pick'n'Pluck foam configuration out!) with just about enough room to spare for a Giottos Rocket Small Air Blower, an energy bar and a few first aid essentials. |

I use a Manfrotto MT055XPRO3. I've tried different tripods - but this one works the best. I extend the center column and one leg section and it's the perfect height. I screw the Matterport directly on the tripod. I have absolutely no idea why you would want to use a quick release. I'd had one quickly release my camera and the camera fell on the floor and decided to stop being a camera. I've had stabilization issues when using them too. Totally unnecessary. I also bought the DLEV and found it cumbersome to use. Adjusting the legs by pushing them in slightly works easier for me. And with the DLEV, I kept betting stabilization issues. |

@Metroplex360 Much love for Manfrotto, it's been a go-to brand for me over the years give or take a few spells with Gitzo Travelers (now part of Manfrotto!). As for quick-release, it's a fair point. I figured that screwing the Pro2 directly onto the tripod was significantly riskier for me personally in that I'd undoubtedly drop one or the other during the coupling! That said, I'll actually revisit your approach over the weekend, I'm seriously warming to the idea of one less thing to think about... I've yet to try the DLEV, reminds me of Kaidan's Quick Tilt Leveller from my Coolpix 990 days! |

@PeterMcCready I've been screwing the Matterport Camera on my tripod since September 2015 - and I've tried 2 quick releases and just didn't see the advantage. I still have to take the quick release off when I put my DSLR on as I have a different head for that anyway (or I use my Alta Vanguard Pro 2+ for my DSLR)... DLEV is well made, I just don't really see the point. I can level my camera with a bubble in the shoe by moving my legs around. |
