I thought I’d test the new feature to see if I could obscure the camera by placing a cut out photo of my face strategically on the mirror. Now if only Matterportcould map the 180 view onto the location of the “face” or other marker we could get an exact mirror image without a camera. Click to view test |

I like that it blurred the faces in the family photo on the wall.

Haha I did not even think to notice how it blurred the faces in our family portrait - that is very cool! Being able to navigate to and from outside ( or to disconnected rooms/buildings ) using 360’s is going to make a big difference to the user experience. Kudos to Matterport for the great upgrades

Hello friends, Would you please refer below result of our "Mirror in Mirror" methord for camera remove from mirror? ![]() It is screen shot from our PanoMirror.html page. Below is the original look. ![]() We setup one virtual mirror between the camera and the real mirror, the virtual mirror will reflect the image just behind the camera on the Panorama. Use below link and drop your Panorama with "camera in mirror" and try to remove it. http://www.iit3d.com/pano/PanoMirror.html Click "q" or "a" you can change the size of the virtual mirror; Click "w" or "s" you can change the distance between the virtual mirror and the camera. You can download 8K x 4K Panorama from @Bernardhhi's "Face Blur in mirror test" here for testing. The PanoMirror.html is only a POF page. We may add some functions later: 1. Change the shape of virtual mirror to rectangle with special width and height value; 2. Feathering boundary of virtual mirror when overlay the camera in mirror; 3. Adjust the color of image on virtual mirror ... It seems that if AI can be applied to this process the Auto Camera Remover may be possible. |
