Hi All, If you do not pick up the phone, do you have your calls go to a live operator service? If so, why? Best, Dan |

I use an answering service at the moment. It’s cheap, it comes off like you’re a large company and there’s always someone answering the phone which is important. Especially in real estate, realtors are very time sensitive so a missed call usually means missed work. I have had problems though, these companies usually have anywhere from 16-60 operators so there’s no consistency on the level of service. Some operators have not realized I am the owner when someone asks for me, think I was a man because of my unusual name, cold to the customer or sound too automated. If you can afford to hire an individual I would go that direction for sure. A positive first impression is paramount with initial contact and will set the tone for the clients’ overall experience. | ||
