| @HarlanHambright Got you beat by a dozen!  (Although... truth be told there's a few duplicate models which I have to go through and delete) What's your plan for the end of the month when Matterport starts charging for model counts over 300? By my calculation being nearly 300 over the cost will be an EXTRA $114/month. I plan to go on a deleting binge to get back under 300. I only hope I don't delete a model I need down the road. I'm surprised MSPs aren't as much up in arms about this as the terms of service change. I've said this before and I'll say it again... if they want to set a limit of 300 it should at least be models that have showcase sharing turned on... not uploaded models in general. It's stupid and outrageous and it upsets me every time I think about it. Okay.. enough negativity... I'm off to bed. |

| @Queen_City_3D, Since you are creating a high volume of models each month (assuming greater than 20), it may be advantageous for you to open a second account. Now that we are able to transfer models between accounts easily, you could move half of your models to a new account to get under the hosting limit (for now) and get an additional 11 models processed each included. This a potential benefit of $383 a month. Cost to host 300 models: $114 Cost of Business account: $149 Cost to process 11 large models: $418 If you paid to host 300 models and process 11 large models, the cost would be $532 a month. Therefore it makes sense tho get a second account and pay only $149 a month for the same benefit. Does that make sense? Jon J |

| @JonJ You make a good point that just for the processing costs alone, it might be worth looking at to have 2 business accounts. I still think Matterport's 300 model limit is flawed. I hate that I have to go through several years worth of models to decide which ones to delete. When I bought Matterport my understanding was that "hosted" models were ones that had showcase sharing turned on... not simply ones that you have scanned. After all, everyone will go over 300 scans at some point.. some quicker than others. |
