| Great show today. Real eye opener that this is far from being settled and all should keep on this till it's settled. Copyright vs License agreement. Very powerful discussion and how Matterport is trying to work around what one would expect as a photographer. Great that Ross praised Dan Smigrod in his efforts to being a voice for everyone. This is a must watch. |

| This town hall should be watched by all. If you were a real estate agent that got a camera you may not be cognizant of the protects you have as a photographer. That is the key of all of this and those naive may think it’s not a big deal. As one person said Matterport is trying to manipulate the law and it’s place in the service. If it wasn’t for Dan and this forum they might have got away with it. One contributor talked about software licensing and talking to his attorney. Matterport has an advantage because their opposition are smal business owners with no legal budget. What are the thoughts of a go fund me that someone would mamage that would pay a law firm to review and represent the little guy without everyone commiting to a high budget if they did it individually. Is this something to look into or am I nuts? |
