| A member of WGA was intimately involved in the scandalous creation of this amazing hybrid tour. It combines Matterport 3D capture with high resolution imagery captured by the Nokia OZO camera. The player is a custom, proprietary player. I'm excited to see the tour reused and updated to promote the new film. While I may will not be titillating myself by watching the movie, I'm a huge fan of this tour and think it's a landmark achievement of creativity. | Ahh yes it's Valentine's day again. It was a fun project that one. One minor correction, the images of the tour was just standard panoramic images captured with a Canon and a fisheye lens. A 3d model was constructed from the matterport point cloud, an external background was added to the exterior. The Nokia ozo was used for the 360 masquerade ball and the other parts. We shot it over 9 days with lots of time waiting. For comparison here is the original scan of the main room |
