No lock any where. These are the same two cars from different scans, doors intact! |

It is a stitching error in the processing, you can clearly see a horizontal lines right above it to the right. | ||

@cloud9leeds Might be luck of the draw for where the camera starts and stops and does its alignment. You can always try adding extra scans in relatively the same spot and orient the camera head in a different location for different scans and then in workshop remove any that have major stitching errors. |

It also depends on. How close the camera is to the door,seat or any item and is required to build mesh model. So in a car not really ideal but it may work. | ||

I'm getting pretty good results inside cars (I am a car as well as architecture photographer www.carsoftheworld.photos) but am keen to improve. Would shooting multiple scans inside a car even if only a few inches apart help at all? | ||

I had something similar. Got the explanation that the camera has to be about 50 centimeters away from objects to not get the misalignment. |
