Hi Everyone I am considering purchasing a Pro 2 Matterport, we have had version 1 for 18 months now and are happy. For those who upgraded, is it worth it? We will probably keep the second one for a backup or reserve if we get busy enough. Would someone be so kind as to send a raw image download of a shot taken with the Pro 2. My business partner is the photographer in the business and he currently takes stills while I do scans, we plan to upgrade to allow us to take shots from the matterport, especially on smaller jobs. Thanks in advance for any examples or advice you provide |

@3dshowcaseuk While you are waiting to hear back from other We Get Around Network Forum Members, see if the posts that are tagged - Pro2 - are helpful. Early on, WGAN Forum Members were posting examples of shot with both cameras. Best, Dan P.S. I used a Matterport Pro1 Camera to shoot the stills here ... www.321pattersonway.info @JonJ with Photo Sparc did the post production that achieved this result ... P.P.S. Not sure this Matterport coupon code to save $300 will work in the UK, if you decide to buy a Pro2 |

@3dshowcaseuk The picture is too big to show online. you should select download. Each one is 6MB~13MB. The link is right, we can download them. |

it is more the still snapshots that I would be interested in for quality. Demand for pano is low for me. Thanks for all your help folks |

With the 16K x 8K panoroma you can take shoot at any direction to generate your 2d still snapshots. Many users here already provide the proof that the snapshoot from Matterport PRO2 is better than DSLR camera result. But the seam issue still there, so some customers may not accept it. |

OK, So does anyone have examples of snapshots taken with a Pro2 ie still NON panoramic? Are they 4K quality? Can I confidently offer 1 x MP Tour, 10 4K HD Stills, floorplan & VR and the quality be better than the camera I have? Sorry for maybe being stupid about this, or do I need to take pano and then capture from them? |

Hi @3dshowcaseuk! You can download a 4K Snapshot from ANY Matterport Tour at: https://my.matterport.com/api/v2/player/models/[model id]/thumb For instance: https://my.matterport.com/api/v2/player/models/PYtzJk8iVvL/thumb The image can be up to 8092 x 4552 depending on the zoom level used when taking the snapshot. That image is 6296 x 3542 because it was snapped at 80% Zoom. Here is a Pro-1 image at 100% Zoom, which was 1920 x 1080: https://my.matterport.com/api/v2/player/models/seKKuprp9F8/thumb -- For information, you can review the knowledge base: https://support.matterport.com/hc/en-us/articles/230633008-Choose-2D-Snapshot-Size-Printing-Information |

@JuMP have you tried to fix the seam issue in photoshop? I was just thinking that possible shifting half the image up or down a couple. Pixels and then cropping would work. Not in front of a computer to try until tomorrow.

Alignment. I'd the camera is to close to something and the stitching doesn't work perfect. Once exportef as an image is it possible to manually align and have it look right

@htimsabbub23 Ah! I thought that you were indicating that an exported had a seam where it would wrap around... Yes, it's possible to correct, although I don't think there's any automated way to do it.

As a pro DLSR user I would state that MP could never beat the quality of a good DSLR setup when also a pro is behind the cam. But for the average user it should be pretty ok.
