Dan ---- The following is the text of an email (27 August 2015) from the Matterport Team. -- Announcing enhancements to 3D Showcase Dear Matterport Customer, This week we are happy to release new improvements to 3D Showcase, including keyboard navigation and improvements to the mobile experience. The following features and improvements were released this week: -- Animated feedback when attempted navigation results in no movement. A “bounce” animation now signals to users that their navigation attempt has registered, but no movement occurred. -- Blue navigation reticle (circle) disappears in directions with no navigation. In areas where a mouse click won’t move the user through the space, the blue reticle will disappear to signify no movement in that direction is possible. -- Enhanced mobile navigation supported. Mobile navigation now supports 2-finger spread to move the user forward (as if a tap occurred), and 2-finger pinch to move the user backward. -- Dollhouse view now features authentic motion. Your models now have momentum in Dollhouse view. On desktop and mobile, releasing the model while rotating will now deliver a more graceful and physically authentic experience. -- Enhanced panorama accessibility. Previously, you were unable to navigate to a panorama if it had no geometry below it. Now, these panoramas are navigable. These improvements represent our continued commitment to providing a superior virtual experience. We hope this additional functionality will improve your My.Matterport.com experience.
