| Yesterday, the Chinese startup Veer VR released a nice 360 video editor for iOS. What makes it attractive to me is the ability to add text, music and stickers, and perform the entire workflow on your phone. Granted that the stickers are not very business oriented, I feel they are working in the right direction. | I’ve not tried the editor, however I’ve uploaded several 360 videos and the benefit of uploading 360 videos to this site is that it overcomes the shortcomings of Safari etc. not being able to play 360 video. When you upload, you can view on any device / browser & download an iFrame code to embed into your website + there is an app for mobile. Other tools include ability to post 360 videos directly to Social. Whilst VeeR currently supports 4k uploads, it plays in 1080 unlike YouTube & FB which now play 360 video in 4k. I do believe VeeR are planning to support 360 4k playback soon. Richard |
