Hi ! I am a real estate agency's photographer in France and my boss is interested in Matterport 3D scan. He would like to know if it is easy to use, is it requires photography knowledge? The Ipad app is it enough intuitive and is a trainee could do it? Is it delivered with the tripod? Thank you for your answers. |

The Matterport system is definitely easy to use and very intuitive. You can definitely make a decent 3D Showcase your first time out with the system, but there's also a lot to learn as you go along, too. A tripod is not included with the camera; you'll need to buy one separately. There's a recommended one on the Matterport website but any sturdy one of sufficient height will likely work for you. @LDImages Thanks for joining the Forum. I encourage you to use the Forum search box that is powered by Google plus tags. As someone that is thinking about buying a Matterport Camera or engaging a Pro. You might find this We Get Around blog post helpful: Buy a Matterport Camera or Book a Matterport Photographer? Thank you both for your help. If i understood correctly we only get back a link by the cloud and not files? So it's not possible to modify pictures when done? |

You can extract pictures/photos from the scan once completed and modify those. If you are meaning to modify the internal panoramic images then no, not yet. It's something that would be nice to have, and I believe it has been a request for sometime. An improvement to the camera would be a nice upgrade, with the ability to edit the panoramic photos (blur out items etc) |

Ok thank you Jamie. Another question from my boss : how long does it take to scan a 100m2 flat? |

Depending on the space. The more rooms, the more clutter will increase the time. A good rule of thumb would he 100m2 about 30 mins to an hour |
