| Hi All, Does Matterport have a team that calls on Multiple Listing Service(s)? I am at the technology meets real estate conference today and I just visited with a representative of an MLS that had no idea what Matterport is. How is this possible? Dan |

| Totally plausible and unsurprising to me. There are many in the real estate industry that walk around totally blind to any technology. I got you beat on this one. How about a client asking me "what is copying and pasting"? Yes, they were dead serious. "What is Matterport"? doesn't surprise me in the least..... | ||

| Love where this thread is going... @DanSmigrod and @hometakes On the MLS - real estate associations are slow to adopt and conventional routine has stultified progress in this industry, sadly. On the general lack of tech savvy... It is hard enough to get many people to understand electronic signatures. I know - I'm a broker. The frustration of where we are with technology and it's purpose to make things faster and easier is exacerbated when you adopt it and those around you are still playing in archaic arena. So, @baxter - I am working on this right now, but it is a $300k - $500k project. It will take a combination of sleek technologies to accomplish it. Among them, in my opinion: 1. Core Logic 2. A open-source MLS, (domestic and international) 3. Slack - for transparent communication between seller/buyer/vendor(title and loans) 4. A portal for publishing the listings So, if anyone wants to create a LLP and crown fund, we could set this in motion... cause a lot of disruption, yet have something that is totally kick ass! |
