Scan problem. 2500sq.m517

Hi everyone!
I had my first scanning experience recently. The object was huge - sport club, 2500 square meters. I managed to scan only half. Now I have 103 working scans (207 scans on counter).
The problem I faced is the following: the camera was able to scan and transfer data, but then “Capture” application crushed and the scan couldn’t be fixed. I’ve rebooted “Capture” application, and it helped in the beginning, but now «Capture» app crush and crush, so I’m not able to do even one scanning.

• Ipad mini 3, 16gb (free space - 3gb), firmware 8.1.1.
• Matterport camera v.2

I have only two assumptions:
1. there is not enough memory on ipad;
2. firmware update is needed.

Has anyone faced the same problem?

I wonder if you did an iCloud back-up and them a restore to an iPad Air 2, if that would solve the challenge.

Plus, the iPad Air 2 would enable you to scan large spaces in much less time.
