Yes of course! Floorplans have never been easier. Leica Disto D2 is probably the best if not a bit pricey. |

I just bought a Bosch GLM 50c this weekend at a pawn shop for $60. The floor plan offering for Matterport in my advertising has confused some agents. I tested out the Free App from Bosch this weekend and found the floor plan make a bit detailed on measuring each wall. Is anyone using a laser measure tool and floor plan program? I believe a tool like this can help our confidence as we advertise a little more about floor plans with Matterport. Also have this offering as another up sell with our still photography shoots and quell any confusion saying we offer floor plans. |

@realtymedia @JAX1979 Since you can get 2D floor plans created from the Matterport Spaces 3D Tour, why are you using a laser measurer? Can you share an example of the end result? @VTLV Can you share an example of what you get using Bosch App + Bosch GLM 50c and why you like the output better than what you were previously doing? (Examples?) Thanks, Dan |

I'll have to get back to you on that one Dan, there's pictures I took, kids are in some, house was a mess. I don't want to share that online. I'll run another test in a cleaned up environment and share that some time in the future. |

Hi Dan I use an external floor plan creator as it is cheaper and easier. I think from memory in UK it is £16 per floor plan with Matterport. I use a programme called ZPlan which allows me to create 2d/3d floorplans (their version of 3D) FOR £15 pm and do as many as i like. It takes me less than 10 minutes to measure a property (been doing it for so many years). In the UK margins are tight so a little extra effort to save a decent chunk of money is worth it. All UK agents measure their own properties. |

FYI - Largest floor plan supplier in UK is metropix Zplan is probably better (and cheaper) once you get the hang of it. |
