Large Specialty Hotel5054

DouglasMeyers private msg quote post Address this user
Ok gang, I have a Large Specialty Hotel with about 14 floors and each floor could take 200 scans each.
Question...
1. What is the largest amount of scans anyone has done with one tour?
2. If I do 14 different tours can they all be put together using a
Wp3d model and if not as a tour (i think not) maybe just a photo
rendering of all the floors ?

Thanks everyone...

Maybe break up into separate scans and use mattertags in/near elevator or stairwell to lead them to other floors?

Cool idea but what I am looking for is a full Doll house view or something like that.

@DouglasMeyers

How much memory on your iPad?

I have done about 350 with no problems.

Is what I see an issue is the alignment of the halls looking the same?

I pad is 128 gig...
But can we put a doll house looking view in wp3D of the tours each on top of each other so it looks like the hotel ?
Thanks

Could you? Probably in Photoshop but it would take a long time.

I would do a test run down a hall because I think your problem is going to be alignment. You might have to put something in hall like a plant to catch. Scan until you see the light in capture app go from green, yellow and then red. I would use their Wi-Fi and upload it at least make a duplicate and keep scanning. I think it goes red about 250-275.

It will be a lot of work but it would be pretty cool also.

Like it, sounds like a good plan. I will share after it's done.
Thanks...
