Matterport Spaces 3D Tour showing use of MatterTags for "jumping to" Quadrants. Space courtesy of Matterport Hi All, You can now deep link - link to a specific spot within another Matterport Space. This feature might be helpful if you are trying to scan super-large spaces such as a multi-floor commercial space or museum. | How is this any different from the traditional way of linking multiple scans together using Mattertags? I honestly don't see it.. Or is this just a guide on how to do this process (which has been available for a long time), only published kinda late? |

| @DannyBasting I think the difference is pointing out that you can link directly to that point inside of the other scan instead of just loading the whole Tour fresh. @DanSmigrod, I haven't tried that yet, but so scanned a Farm House yesterday and I will be doing the barn today and would love to use this method to connect them. Does it launch the new space seamlessly inside the same viewer, or does it start the tour up and then jump to that spot? In other words, it is my understanding that the reason we are limited to 5 video tags is because the tour preloads the assets in the background so they fire smoothly. Is it the same case for a tour that is referenced? Is the second space loaded in the background to go active as soon as the Mattertag is clicked? If so, that's great! (I also love the elevator idea. Maybe hide the stems and anchor your tags to the buttons with height set to 0.) |

| @ArtisticConcept You might have figured this out already. The default deep link URL launches the second space, zooms in from dollhouse view and then jumps to the predetermined spot in the second space. If you want to jump directly to the predetermined spot then append the URL parameter &qs=1 at the end of the deep link URL, this will activate the quick start mode and bypass the dollhouse zoom. |

| @DanSmigrod They didn't like the camera that much. . It was funny hearing them moo at it every time it rotated :-) My favorite part is the view from the hammock. That made me want to stay for sure! |
