Hi, anyone used the scans as an educational tool, for example showing students the components of a building or engineering project. Maybe using VR and plans to help them visualise how it all goes together and Mattertags with videos and text to demonstrate a process?

Thanks Dan, not quite what I meant but an impressive scan. I basically want to use the Matterport and software as a learning resource. For example scan a house during its building stage and tag each component at different positions. Students can then explore the building site and identify these components and also health and safety, hazards and materials. Many uses for the scans and with the project bring on the internet students can access it in the classroom either on iPad, laptop or in VR with their smart phones.

@RichardByers Not quite (yet!) from that perspective but I have used Matterport to capture the Architecture at Queen's End of Year Show...

...at work shortly before it ended last month, it's an absolutely fantastic resource for staff and students to revisit anytime.

HistoryView VR is an amazing program for students and teachers to explore the world. I highly recommend scanning for their program. We have been contacted by new business multiple times from our work being broadcasted on their website. Check it out!
