There is two different websites from WordPress. The WordPress.com themes are the ones you cannot install any plugins and the .org site you can. You want to install WordPress from .org. | ||

Hi all... Thanks for the message @tanguyc. Please note that WP3D Models is compatible with WordPress.ORG software which is also known as the "self-hosted" version of WordPress. This is not the same as WordPress.COM accounts. This topic has been the source of some confusion in the WordPress world for some time, but the primary difference is this: WordPress.ORG This software is free, but must be installed at a hosting company which typically comes with a monthly (or annual) hosting fee. Given the popularity of WordPress (over 27% of the entire Internet) nearly every host on the planet supports using WordPress on their systems...with most offering pre-installed packages. IMPORTANT: You must be using this type of WordPress hosting to install 3rd Party plugins, including WP3D Models. WordPress.COM This is the other "flavor" of WordPress and is built upon the same core WordPress software BUT you cannot install 3rd Party plugins and thus, is not compatible with WP3D Models (or of the other 50,000 plugins out there). It sounds like perhaps you guys are looking at WordPress.COM accounts. ********** As noted above, there are LOTS of options to establish hosting that supports WordPress.ORG. WordPress offers this hosting guide ยป Additionally, we at WP3D Models highly recommend a firm called WPEngine that offers "Managed WordPress Hosting" as well as 24/7 expert support and a slew of other features. We're happy to explain more WordPress hosting pros/cons if you want to reach out to us directly. https://wp3dmodels.com/contact/ Hope this helps! Ross |
