As founder and Chief Experience Officer of ToPa 3D, Paul Tice’s background includes implementing best practices and workflows of various 3D reality capture technologies for projects. Tice draws from over 26 years’ military and civilian experience in mapping, field operations, CAD, GIS, and cadastral survey projects. Having published several articles in industry trade magazines, Paul has appeared in the Oregon Business Journal, The Daily Journal of Commerce, and SparPoint News with his work. | Paul scanned the conference space that we are in ... Discussion of Matterport scanning for accurate measurement. Uses Cloud Compare to compare the accuracy of Matterport scan to FARO Interesting to see the difference between Matterport and LiDAR using the Cloud Compare service. Matterport is attractive to us because the .pts is so much smaller file. Dan |
