| As first announced in the We Get Around Network Newsletter exclusively for Basic, Standard and Premium Members . . . --- Matterport Training Video Wanted: $1,000 We Get Around seeks a Matterport training video and will pay $1,000 for the “buy-out” of the video we like best. This training video is the first step in creating the We Get Around Network Training Academy. Our vision is to crowdsource the creation of a library of “how to videos” to: ✓ help new Matterport Pros succeed faster ✓ decide if buying a Matterport Camera is right for them We Get Around anticipates seeking videos on other topics too. (We are often asked if we have Matterport training videos.) What We Seek in this Video ✓ Up to 1 hour of real-time video of a Matterport Spaces 3D Tour scan capturing process in a residence. ✓Show and Tell: narrated in real-time in English explaining what is happening and why ✓ No text or sub-titles (We Get Around will transcribe and add sub-titles) Why We will make this video available to Members of the We Get Around Network Forum at no charge to help Members: ✓ help new Matterport Pros succeed faster ✓ decide if buying a Matterport Camera is right for them I will make my decision on which video I would like to buy based on this 100 point scale: ✓ Up to 50 points for authentic, real-time video with “best practices” narration in English (what you are doing and why). We are not seeking a slick production-value video. While it may be dull or boring to watch up to an hour of Matterport scanning shot with one camera and no edits, we really do want to show as real as possible, what the Matterport scanning experience is like in real-time with narration ✓ UP to 10 points for length: 1 point for each 6 minutes ✓ Up to 10 points for a WOW factor: “I want to watch the entire video.” ✓ Up to 10 points: no logo, signage or identification for the Pro, real estate agent or location ✓ Up to 10 points for post production (such as a two-camera shoot or iPad screen grab inserted into the video) ✓ Up to 10 points for the quality of the video recording experience (using a GoPro, smartphone, 360º video, DSLR or other video recording solution are all fine: aiming the camera at the floor for no reason; not so good) Though our intent is to “buy-out” a video, we reserve the right not to buy a video, if no videos receive a score 70 or higher. Timing To be considered, please submit one video by Saturday, 10 June 2017 (Please see this We Get Around Training Video Submission Form). Payment If We Get Around selects your video, you will receive your choice of: ✓ USD $1,000 via PayPal, or ✓ 24 months of We Get Around Network Standard Membership ($1,176 value) provided that you include on your invoice that: ✓ a “buy-out” of video, including copyright (and moral rights) and that a .mp4 file is provided ✓ You have a model release for any people appearing in the video ✓ You have a location release for the use of the space ✓ You agree not to make the video public ✓ If you are in the United States We Get Around (TERRIFIC! Inc.) will send you or your company a 1099 ✓ You are a Member of the We Get Around Network Forum at the time of your video submission (free) ✓ You are not an employee of Matterport at the time of your video submission ✓ You have the authority – and ownership – to transfer the rights of the video to We Get Around While we anticipate providing access to this video free to We Get Around Network Forum Members for at least six months, we reserve the right to use the video in other ways such as restricting access to only to Basic, Standard and Premium Members. It’s possible that we may offer to buy more than one video. We will not display a video publicly, unless we have the “buy-out” of the video. My decision is final. Again, this training video is the first step in creating the We Get Around Network Training Academy. When I started scanning in July 2014 with my Matterport Camera, I wished there was a video like this to show me the way to succeed faster. | I attempted the GoPro with a Chesty mount yesterday. At 1h20m my disk was full and the scan was not complete. I'm going to try at a different scan next week with a designated camera person if all goes well. :-) | ||

Hi All, I am hearing crickets from Matterport Pros interested in this $1,000. That's probably great news for the two Pros that have reached out to me so far: a shoot-out between two Pros for $1,000 in easy money. Kinda hoping that you are inspired by this opportunity and strap on a GoPro while you are creating a Matterport 3D Tour and giving color commentary. Please see my original post for complete details. I could imagine that $1,000 is more than you make on most of your 3D Tours – so, I am hoping that these $$$$$ are motivation to shoot video. And, you don't edit it. One long real-time shoot. Easy! And, if the cash doesn't motivate you – please remember the time you were thinking about buying a Matterport Camera - or just bought one - and wished you could have watched an hour of realtime Matterport scanning to help you decide if you wanted to buy a Matterport Camera or help you succeed faster.
