| On the local news radio on my drive home tonight, I heard some great news: Angels Flight, the troubled funicular that has been closed to the public for several years, is reopening! I did a Matterport scan of it last summer as part of an effort to bring attention to it. When I got home, a friend of mine had emailed me a link to this LA Times article with my tour embedded! http://www.latimes.com/projects/la-me-angels-flight/ This tour is also kind of special because I was able to make it so that as you move down the rail car, the car itself moves down the hill. So when you reach the bottom of the car, the car reaches the bottom of the hill! |
