| What do you feel is the best height to set your camera while scanning, for the best field of view of floor to ceiling ratio? I tend to shoot on the low end with camera optics around 4 1/2 to 5 feet. Just wondering what others shoot at and why? |

I'm 5 11" and I line the middle lenses to my eye height so maybe 5 6/7"? I'm struggling to calculate the distance between my eyes and the top of my head tho  |

| Like for architectural photos, an interior looks better with a camera a bit lower... Like you @Helen, we place the camera around 4.5-5' When you walk the tour, you don't feel like you're a little person at all (so that's good!  )Matt |

| I shoot at about 4.5 feet and it seems to convey a natural perspective. Admittedly, I haven't tried higher or lower. When I first joined the forum I remember reading that this was the proper height, and I've stuck with it ever since! | ||

| I agree completely. I started shooting at the recommended 60 inches and I found that I shot a lot of ceiling space and that it was so high that my photos were oddly lobbed off at the bottom. 60 inches is just too high. 4.5 to 5 is right. No matter how high the ceiling is, you don't want lobbed off images and I sell a lot of packages, image and walk through. | ||
