 Hi All, I recommend attending IVRPA annual conference July 3-6 2017 in Vienna. Imagine 300-400 of the best 360º VR photographer in the world all sharing their knowledge freely and presentations by Google, among others. I loved IVRPA Quebec City 2016 - and I would attend again in 2017 (if I did not have a family wedding to attend that exact weekend). Great news: tickets for the IVRPA Vienna 2017 conference are now available. Book your place and block out your diary; June 3-6 is when world experts in 360 VR will come together in Vienna. Our 12th annual Conference will feature 4 days of talks, workshops, panels and other events where you will meet and learn from the leaders of the VR industry. Updates to key software and new hardware developments will be announced and shown. Some of the precise details are still being finalized, so expect news releases to appear regularly on our site. In Vienna we will also run the IVRPA Street View Challenge for the second time. This is a special event in partnership with Google that documents the conference host city in a special Featured Collection, with a judging panel giving awards for different categories. Last year’s Québec City Featured Collection has the most views on Google Street View, and this year we will be exploring and documenting Vienna. IVRPA members get preferential conference ticket pricing, including access to the Early Bird tickets – while those last. Visit ivrpa.org/event/vienna-2017 and see the Tickets tab for details. We have arrangements with the Motel One Prater in Vienna if you want accommodation close to the conference venue. (For our American members we should point out that ‘motel’ has a different meaning in Europe.) The conference venue is the Vienna Boys’ Choir Concert Hall (https://goo.gl/maps/GrybZWHnreK2). In Summary The conference runs Jun 3-6, Saturday to Tuesday, in beautiful Vienna, Austria.
