| I will add more later but buying SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and NOT using your site , facebook and other social media makes it harder to get better ranking. Here is why Google looks at the top ten sites in your area and checks your site for pages and a host of things but it also looks to see if you have social media accounts and is the site and/your social media accounts are active and have likes and shares. So another site that doesnt look as good as yours may out rank you because they have a facebook page with more likes , shares and comments. Or they have more reddit comments, or instagram activity. The one thing you don't do is buy SEO and then abandon your site and social media. If you do both you will have much better results and will get more sales. another way to look at it is SEO gets people to your site and social media like a flyer for a killer party. However if they show up to the "killer" party and its koolaid and crackers then the promoter did their job but you didnt have the social environment for people to stay. That is how google sees it. There are only ten spots and they want those with the best content and that is determined by likes and shares. They also want the top ten sites that have the most "social triggers" which comprise of posts on them and likes, shares and comments. So you have a great site and get page one but things slack off it could mean you have to do a little (not a lot) to keep the rankings up there. will add more as time permits |
