Wish List: Matterport Showcase Features Best, Dan ---- MatterTag Enhancements ✓ Image / Video Embeds - Automatically detect media content from MatterTag Links and embed into Mattertag. (Proof of concept in MatterPlus.) |  ✓ Custom Icons - Allow users to select from multiple icon types -- potentially using IcoMoon ✓ Index - Option for a sidebar that contains a list of all MatterTag titles that can be clicked to reposition user where MatterTags are placed. Creative use is endless. Desktop 'Collections' ✓ VR Collections for Desktop - Implementation of tour selection for non-VR embeds. | Social Media Sharing Icons ✓ Facebook and Twitter Buttons - Add simple icons to share a tour to Facebook and Twitter (Proof of concept in MatterPlus), log shares in stats. ✓ Facebook 360 Share Buttons - Automatically generate a Matterport Branded Facebook 360 pano when sharing. Highlight Reel Enhancements ✓ 360 Views in Overlay - 360 Views should open in an overlay rather than take the user out of the 3D Tour into a pano that does not contain links to return them to where they entered from. (Proof of concept in MatterPlus) ✓ User Submitted Photos - Photos would be uploaded to Workshop and would appear in a lightbox overlay. Useful for adding drone photography and exteriors. ✓ User Submitted Videos - Support YouTube / Vimeo video links that would open in a lightbox overlay ✓ Custom HTML - User submitted content that would appear in a lightbox overlay similar to how the terms of service appears. ✓ Google Maps Embeds - A 'nearby' feature that would open a map in a lightbox overlay to show the local neighborhood and other businesses. ✓ Schematic Floorplans - Purchased schematic floorplans could be viewable from within the tour in a lightbox overlay. This would add value to this service and increase Matterport's revenue. ✓ Groups - Ability to group content wherein a thumbnail would open up a sub-group of highlight reel content preceeded by a [BACK] icon to return to the main list. |

| One tweak. To hide the controls and info at the bottom of a model we must click the model. Many times the click causes us to move even if we don't want to move. The new auto-hide feature seems aimed at users who want controls to disappear as they drag the mouse instead of users who want to make controls disappear on demand -- such as when they're simply looking at the model. Some VR tours have a button you toggle on demand to show and hide controls. | ||

| Capability to allow administrator to upload 3rd party video into carousel e.g. Play a Drone Video directly in slider without have to leave the Tour by clicking on a link within a Tag. Would require more cloud storage but I guess MP could charge for this in a premium subscription package. |
