| Hi All, A Member asks: "Do you know if there was any progress on the API?" --- Two years ago, Matterport published a sign-up form for its Matterport Developer Program. More than six months ago @Metroplex360 gave us great insight into the unofficial Matterport API with his MatterXport tool. As far as I know, this API is still not officially available for 3rd party developers. True? Three months ago, Matterport announced ... ✓ Matterport Virtual Reality (VR) SDK Sign-up I am aware of at least one tester ... ✓ #ICNY17 Video: 1st Public Use: MP VR SDK? | There is an increased push at Matterport to build strong services for third parties big and small. There have been some changes in job titles internally and Matterport has been wonderful with interested parties. MatterPlus is probably a better example of what to expect with an SDK over matterXport as it uses an exploit to interface with the internal, private, unfinished api that will be the future basis for the desktop showcase SDK. MatterXport was a data mining tool.  |
